About the SMD
Applications are invited for a Digital Media Officer in the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, to support creation and delivery of our online presence as part of our internal and external communications strategies. This position is responsible for management of online assets and provision of professional support in the administration of website management, digital media, and communications.
Duties include maintenance and improvement of our website via the content management system (T4), analysis of web activity, implementing social media strategies, using digital media to support public engagement activities, producing videos and photographs, creating databases of imagery, and ensuring that all aspects of the website are compliant with regulations.
The successful applicant will be educated to degree level, and ideally possess a computing proficiency/web technology qualification. They will have experience using website and content management systems (particularly T4), ideally in higher education or charity settings. Experience with virtual learning platforms, creating and maintaining databases, and in photography/video and digital image editing would be helpful. The position will suit a candidate with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, who is able to prioritise a varied workload.

This full-time permanent appointment is based at the London Charterhouse Square/Whitechapel Campuses. Expected start date would be 1st April, with starting salary at Grade 4, in the range of £36,348 - £42,592 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
