At Leeds Trinity University, we aspire to make a difference to the people, the professions and the places that we serve, and we are looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our University community. We are ranked top in Yorkshire for learning community and pride ourselves on being the University where our students are a name, not just a number. The University has a distinctive, employability-focused educational offer and works closely with employers to address the skills needs of today’s workforce. Applications are invited for the following post:
Admissions Administrator (2 Posts)
Hours of Work: Full-time (35 hours per week)
We are seeking to appoint two new team members to join our Admissions Team. The Admissions Team is split into 3 areas of work: Undergraduate and Postgraduate, Initial Teacher Training and Partnerships. Each team is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to all applicants, staff and enquirers relating to undergraduate and postgraduate degree student admissions. The successful postholders will work within one of these teams but will be expected to work closely across the admissions service and with other colleagues within Student Administration as well as Student Recruitment staff and contribute as necessary to all aspects of Student Administration activity.
The successful candidates should have strong proven administrative skills and experience; previous admissions experience in the Higher Education sector would also be a distinct advantage. Suitable candidates would be able to demonstrate the ability to exercise initiative, work in a deadline driven fast paced environment and have excellent communication and digital literacy skills (to include MS Office). The ability to work to deliver a high level of service is a critical aspect of the role, as is a professional and flexible approach to work and good organisational and time management skills.
Closing date for applications: Sunday 12th February 2023
