By extracting maximum impact with lean organisational design and clear value-for-money criteria we can invest in our strategy and continue to have a well-loved and well-cared for campus.
We seek an enthusiastic administrative assistant to support the Veterinary Health Innovation Engine (VHIVE). VHIVE is committed to improving animal health and welfare via research and partnership with industry and other research institutes. The post holder will provide support to the VHIVE team inclusive of its Animal Health Innovation Network activity, engaging with the Network’s consortium partners. The postholder will play a key role in supporting VHIVE projects from concept through to delivery, inclusive of compliance to university processes and maintaining a high level of administrative support.

In return we offer a generous pension, flexible working options including job share and blended home/campus working locations (dependent on work duties). There is also access to world-class leisure facilities on campus, a range of travel schemes and supportive family friendly benefits including our Bright Horizons on-site workplace nursery, which has an excellent 91% parent satisfaction score.
We aim to attract the best possible talent from the broadest range of people and continue to improve the number of staff from groups that are under-represented across our workforce. We provide an inclusive environment that offers equal opportunities for all and value everyone in our community. Therefore, we particularly encourage applications from under-represented groups, such as people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and people with disabilities. We are proud to hold the Race Equality Charter, Athena Swan Charter, Disability Confident, Accessible and UK Workplace Equality Index.
