About the role 

You will work within the Faculty Planning and Operations team within the Faculty of Health and Education. You will work closely with key stakeholders within the Faculty and across Professional Services to ensure: 

  • Effective development and maintenance of the Faculty's accreditations and PRSB portfolio
  • Provide authoritative advice and guidance on the requirements of relevant PRSB and accrediting bodies
  • There is appropriate governance structures for all PRSB and accrediting bodies
  • Oversight of all compliance requirements for all relevant PRSB and accrediting bodies 

This is a new and exciting role, and the successful candidate will work with the Senior Faculty and Planning Operations Manager and the team to develop the position within the Faculty 

The role will also involve close collaborative working with the Faculty Planning and Operations Managers, Academic Collaboration Team and the Heads of Department. 

You will be expected to work autonomously and with authority, to foster and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels across the University.  

About you 

To be successful in this role we will need you to have: 

  • Excellent communication and planning skills and be able identify practical solutions to challenging issues;
  • Proven ability to manage large projects through to a successful conclusion;
  • A strong and demonstrable commitment to providing an excellent experience for students and the wider University community;
  • A track record of innovation and excellence in service delivery, and of adjusting services and processes at pace to meet changing requirements;
  • In depth knowledge and understanding (or a willingness to acquire such knowledge) of accreditations and professional body memberships related to Health and Education.
  • Knowledge of any specific technical skills or specialist software packages
