A postdoctoral cognitive neuroscientist position is available within the Genomic Disorders and Cognitive Development programme at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit. The programme takes an interdisciplinary approach to characterising phenotypes and understanding mechanisms in neurodevelopmental disorders of known genetic origin.
Applicants should hold a PhD (or equivalent) in cognitive neuroscience or related field. Experience of conducting hands-on research with children or adults is essential. Strong communication skills for interacting with diverse groups and individuals is also an essential requirement. Experience of neuroimaging research and / or cognitive test development are desirable for this post. Experience of working collaboratively across neuroscience disciplines would be advantageous.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
