We are looking for a skilled and proactive CRM Campaign and Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications Team at the University of Hertfordshire, based in Hatfield.
Main duties and responsibilities
The CRM Campaign and Communications Coordinator will work within the CRM team as part of the wider Marketing and Communications department. You will assist the marketing department in building engagement with potential students, applicants, staff and alumni through the creation and delivery of high-quality communications through effective use of the University's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems.
The role will involve managing the co-ordination of communication campaigns, typically via email, SMS or direct mail. Typically, this would involve liaising with marketing colleagues to gather and review content, confirm campaign requirements, build email templates and forms as required, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns in relation to their objectives.
The post holder will work with the CRM Team and colleagues to improve the quality of data and information within the CRM to optimise engagement through campaign activity.
Skills and experience required
The post holder will have proven experience in campaign and comms management and CRM administrative experience and knowledge ideally within a marketing or sales context.
They should have a firm understanding of CRM segmentation and related processes including a familiarity with data security and GDPR.
You should have direct experience in managing bulk email applications, particularly in a cloud environment
Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are additional key requirements
It is desirable that the post holder has good working knowledge of HTML and/or knowledge of SQL queries and concepts. Evidence of experience using CRM systems Raisers Edge, Salesforce or Hobsons would be an advantage.
