We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrative manager to lead and manage professional services related to education within the School of Psychology. You will be required to exercise initiative and personal judgement and take responsibility for co-ordinating tasks and keeping full and proper records of all undergraduate and postgraduate taught schemes. You will work closely with and provide high level support to the Director of Teaching and other staff members involved in the management and delivery of teaching activities and the improvement of the quality of the teaching provision, providing information and statistical data as needed. You will be a senior member of the School’s Professional Services Team, working closely with the School Manager and other colleagues to ensure the overall operational and strategic effectiveness of the School’s professional support services.
The individual should have knowledge of administration processes to include: examination procedures, admissions, enrolment, timetabling, student and programme records.
The post will support the current Education Manager on a part time basis (secondment cover) in delivering teaching administration within the School of Psychology ensuring high quality support for the School’s taught programmes of study.
There is a requirement for on campus working for at least 3 days per week (pro rata). Working outside normal office hours and at weekends may be required.
