Our IT Department has an award-winning reputation for outstanding customer service, modern, secure and stable technology. We are responsible for the design, build and support of all technical infrastructure, back-office applications, teaching and learning applications and data architecture.
About the Role
As a Network Engineer, you will work with best of class technology, helping to keep Canterbury Christ Church University staff and students connected whilst supporting our excellent learning and teaching capabilities. As a key member of the team, the role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and monitoring of the IT network and data Centre infrastructure.
This is an exciting time to join the team. You will be exposed to a mix of complex, technical issues and large-scale projects. There are opportunities for experiences in data centre networking, next generation firewalls and access solutions. The team encourages and promotes knowledge sharing and mentoring for service improvements and professional development.

We are looking for an experienced and approachable candidate with a strong technical understanding of networking and data centre infrastructure.
