The Faculty is home to the largest selection of forward thinking vocational health and social care courses in the Midlands.

As one of three schools in the Faculty, the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is the largest School and delivers undergraduate and post graduate courses for a range of health professions including; nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practice, and most recently diagnostic radiography. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical prescribing. The physiotherapy portfolio includes two pre-registration courses (BSc Physiotherapy and MSc Physiotherapy and Leadership), post-graduate courses (MSc Advancing Physiotherapy Practice, MSc Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and a PgCert First Contact Practitioner). We also offer pre-registration apprenticeships at BSc and MSc levels in Coventry and on our new London campus.  We are currently seeking to recruit a senior academic into the role of Curriculum Lead for Physiotherapy with a vision to further enhance the success of the portfolio.  Applicants should therefore have experience of developing and delivering education programmes within the UK, and line managing academic teams within a relevant portfolio.

The University offers academic and professional development and those without a teaching qualification will need to undertake Coventry University’s PGCHE and/or secure HEA fellowship.
