Our mission is to deliver a transformative education experience that nurtures talent, encourages creativity and scholarship and fosters lifelong learning through enquiry. Our vision is to be a leading and distinctive STEM education and knowledge provider.
We are seeking a confident, proactive and experienced individual to join our team as College Projects Officer. In this role you will play an integral part in the effective functioning of the College and its Executive, providing support to planning, risk, compliance and secretariat projects and activities. You will also work closely with the Director of College Operations and other University colleagues in delivering Brunel University’s Technician Commitment and its constituent workstreams.
The successful applicant will be expected to apply initiative and an understanding of operating within a complex regulatory context. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this post, as is the ability to exercise influence and diplomacy, and to build credibility within the College and the wider University community. Ideally, you will have gained some prior experience in a planning, assurance or governance environment and will be capable of developing new systems and processes to drive business improvement, and have the ability to plan and manage change in a diverse stakeholder environment. A background in Higher Education is an advantage but not essential.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual wishing to develop a career in the Higher Education sector at a time of significant development and change.
