Full time (36.5 hours per week) Permanent position.
We will consider applications for employment on a part-time or other flexible working basis, even where a position is advertised as full-time, unless there are operational or other objective reasons why it is not possible to do so.
The University of Warwick is highly regarded by industry for our world-class analytical technology, alongside the technical and academic expertise to maximise its potential. Warwick Scientific Services (WSS) is key for enabling and proactively driving our engagement with industry and following work from initial discussions to conclusion. We are looking for someone who would be able to identify opportunities to work with industry, introduce them to our talented experts, manage investigations through our online portal and build long term relationships.
The successful candidate will have the skills to understand the challenge or opportunity that industry brings and help find the most suited facility or research group to help deliver the work. They will help deliver the marketing strategies for WSS and build rapport across multiple academic departments. The postholder will act as an ambassador of Warwick at externally facing events and will be a key member of staff within the Research Technology Platforms.
At Warwick, we are committed to supporting staff to achieve their potential. We hold the Athena SWAN Institutional Silver Award: a national initiative that recognises the advancement of gender equality, representation, progression and success for all in academia. We are supportive of staff with caring responsibilities including a generous maternity/paternity/adoption/parental leave policy, onsite childcare facilities and the childcare vouchers scheme.
