As Digital Services and Content Developer within University Library Services you will lead on the successful development, promotion and discovery of library digital services and content. You will work collaboratively with wider stakeholders to identify patterns of engagement, complete usability research and lead projects to understand the digital needs of library user communities. You will take responsibility for planning, completion and analysis of activities that ensure user needs are central to the design and delivery of library digital services.
You will work as a member of the Library Collections & E.Resources Team, line managing and working closely with the Library Digital Collections and Engagement Co ordinator.
This is an exciting time to join University of Sunderland Library Services as we continue our transition to a new library management solution, including Alma library management and Primo content discovery. You will be required to lead transition within your area and work towards building a culture of excellence, inclusion and continual improvement.
University Library Services is placed within Student Journey, a University service that provides a wide and diverse range of services, support and guidance for students. Student Journey team members are actively encouraged to work collaboratively together across the service on projects that deliver high quality professional services in support of learning, teaching, research and reach-out.
