Applications are invited for a Principal Research Nurse to act as Clinical Coordinator for the Alliance for Cancer Early Detection (ACED) Clinic Team at the Early Cancer Institute (www.earlycancer.cam.ac.uk), Department of Oncology. The Institute's goal is to develop, validate and establish novel, highly effective early cancer diagnostic and intervention methodologies. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the cutting edge of the development of new technologies for the early detection of cancer. The role holder will co-ordinate and manage a number of clinical research studies, including the ACED Cohort (acedcohort.org), acting as clinical coordinator of ACED Clinic Cambridge and managing the ACED Clinic Team. Applicants should have a professional nursing qualification, current NMC registration and post-registration experience in co-ordinating clinical studies. Knowledge of research methodology, ethics and research governance of clinical studies, and data management strategies is also essential, as is the ability to manage a complex workload, prioritise & work to deadlines.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available until 31 March 2024 in the first instance.
