Role Description
Are you an experienced and senior fundraiser looking for an opportunity to drive transformational philanthropic giving at one of the UK’s leading Universities? If so, the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni would love to hear from you.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strategic insight, excellent communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships, vision and commitment, to lead and develop the University’s principal gift programme for individual donors.
In this new role, you will work with a small number of individual donors with the potential to make strategic, meaningful and transformational philanthropic gifts, helping them to create impact through their philanthropic goals. You will work with the senior leadership team and members of the academic community in order to initiate philanthropic support for key priorities and accelerate the impact of existing programmes.

Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni
The new Strategic Philanthropy Manager will play a crucial role in the Office of Philanthropic Partnerships and Alumni (OPPA). OPPA is responsible for cultivating relationships with philanthropic donors and volunteers and maintaining life-long links with our alumni community through a range of benefits and services.
They will join an expanding team of creative, visionary and dedicated professionals. The role will work with colleagues to achieve ambitious new goals to increase philanthropy and volunteering and develop a sector-leading alumni engagement programme.
