About the Role:
The Faculty of Health, Education, Medicine & Social Care constantly pursues innovative approaches to deliver curricula to meet the ever-changing educational needs of the Health and Social Care workforce. Our apprenticeship provision in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Chelmsford & Cambridgeshire includes FdSc Assistant Practitioner, FdSc Nursing Associate, BSc Nursing (all fields) courses. Our approach ensures that our well supported students receive a high quality, evidence-informed educational experience.
We’re recruiting for Lecturer Practitioners (Apprenticeships) in Cambridgeshire at our Cambridge campus. This post will include undertaking progress reviews, and supporting theoretical and clinical skills teaching for our apprentices, facilitating both online and face to face teaching (including simulated clinical skills), link activity supporting practice-based learning, and contribution to, innovation and knowledge exchange activities of the School and wider Faculty.
With a first degree and clinical experience of supporting apprentices, you will also hold a current registration with the UK NMC. You’ll have experience of contemporary clinical practice and / or clinical education, excellent written and oral communication skills.
