The International Office is responsible for the successful recruitment and conversion of international applicants to the University. It maintains an extensive global agent and partner network. It is a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong strategic focus on developing and supporting a variety of international student recruitment pipelines from multiple markets.
We are looking for an International Enquiries Officer to co-ordinate our busy front office and manage our international phone and email enquiries. The postholder will be expected to support the University’s international student recruitment functions from designated markets as part of the wider recruitment team.
The successful candidate will have worked in a UK Higher Education international student admissions, recruitment, or marketing setting, and will have had substantial experience of dealing with enquiries from prospective international students and their agents. In addition, they can demonstrate leadership and an ability to co-ordinate the input of peers and assistants to a team effort in running a busy office. They will be flexible, and committed team players, who are sensitive to the needs and perspective of all stakeholders in the international student recruitment environment. The candidate will be based on campus, with an occasional need to work remotely, for example when covering external events within the UK. We would like to hear from candidates who are comfortable using digital technologies for both internal and external communications to optimum advantage.
