The School of Life Sciences is large and diverse, engaging in research and education ranging from Biomedical Science to Marine Biology, creating a challenging and rewarding environment for both students and staff. We are looking for an ambitious individual who will provide operational, strategic and managerial support to the Head of School and Senior Management Team – driving and providing excellence and quality.
This fixed-term, part time post will work alongside another Education Services Manager as part of the senior administrative team within the school, responsible for the management of academic quality assurance processes and administrative structures in the School, including management of an administrative support team, and acting as an interface between the School, the Faculty and the University’s central Professional services teams.
The successful candidate will have proven extensive high level administrative experience in a challenging and complex role and a broad understanding of Higher Education, along with excellent communication, Finance, IT and leadership skills. This role is a fixed-term appointment and is suitable for internal secondment.
