We are seeking an expert Marketing Communications Officer who will play a key role in communications between the Research and Innovation Services department of the University (RIS) and the University's academic community.
About the role
Supporting the outcomes of the review of the department that took place in 2022, the post is central to delivering a communications and engagement plan for these outcomes.
A particular priority for the post will be increased promotion and awareness raising of our enterprise activity, arising from the Review recommendation devoted to ‘Strategies for Raising Awareness of Enterprise Activities’.
The role will support the development of improved opportunities for engagement in this aspect to an internal audience. This includes reach through available communication channels at the University including website, internal news stories, social media, blogs, case studies, publications and corporate literature.
You will also work closely with the University of Bath’s Innovation Centre which supports entrepreneurial staff and students. Coordination with the University’s professional services is essential, including with the Faculties and School, Development and Alumni Relations, Department of Communications including the Press Office, and the Department of Marketing including both Digital and Creative Services.
This role is offered on a part time (21.9 hours per week) fixed term basis with an expected end date of 30/04/2024.
