About the Role
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is seeking to recruit a Process Improvement Analyst on a 12-month fixed term or secondment basis. The successful candidate will join the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences’ Education Team, reporting to the Faculty Education and Quality Manager. There will be a focus on working collaboratively with academic and Professional Services colleagues within the School of Languages, Linguistics, and Film (SLLF) to identify, design, and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and the student experience. The postholder may also work within other Schools in the Faculty dependent on business needs.
About You
The successful candidate will have strong analytical organisational skills and be capable of delivering successful process improvement initiatives. A relevant qualification such as Lean Six Sigma would be desirable.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience in data analysis, project or change management in a related field. The ability to quickly assimilate information and an understanding of effective processes and administrative functions within Higher Education is also required.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London, with hybrid working available. It is a full-time, fixed term appointment of 12 months, with an expected start date of May 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range of £41,386 - £48,414 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
