This is a fixed-term, part time appointment (21 hours per week) for 3 months with potential scope for extension.

You will be involved in supporting our student groups succeed and develop, be delivering high-quality, diverse events for our community, and helping to keep systems and processes running smoothly day-to-day.
This role will support the Activities Manager in the development, administration and facilitation of activity at Birkbeck Students’ Union, be it student-led or staff-delivered. Successful candidates will be well-organised, ambitious, and have a track record in event support and administration.
Experience with student-led groups is desirable, so too is experience and familiarity with BUCS and LUSL programmes, and further confidence in procurement and financial processes.
Remuneration:
Grade 3 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £25,923 rising to £28,728 per annum
The salary quoted will be pro-rata for this part time post and is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
