We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Academic Programme Officer to join our fantastic team in the Centre on a brand-new part-time and fully online Postgraduate Diploma Global Health Research. You will be joining the Academic Programmes Centre, at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, located in Headington, Oxford.
Reporting to the Academic Programmes Manager, you will oversee all the administrative aspects of the course, including providing guidance on University policies as well as providing oversight for student-related activities. You will be responsible for managing all pre-admission general enquiries, the admissions process, the assessment process, funding, payments and the interaction with all the relevant University bodies. As part of this role, you will also manage one Academic Programmes Assistant.
It is essential that you are educated to A-Level standard or equivalent qualification, together with previous administrative experience in a university student-based role and have knowledge of student and course administration. You will also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels and internal and external stakeholders.
