About the Role
This job is essentially a stakeholder engagement and event management role developing relationships with employers and businesses to expand the schools’ professional development offer. A key member of the SEF Professional Services Team, the post holder will be responsible for developing, and coordinating a series of professional development workshops and events primarily aimed at our Postgraduate (PGT) students and for developing initiatives to encourage students to engage with careers/professional development activity.
The post holder will also play a key role in supporting other PGT and UG career-related activities for the School, with a particular focus on production of the weekly newsletter, liaising with academics, engagement with student reps, student employability lead and supporting the student societies.
About You
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of programme, project or events coordination. You will also have experience of administration with Higher Education. Excellent organisational skills and communication skills are essential.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full time, permanent position, with an expected start date as soon as possible. The starting salary will be Grade 4, in the range of £38,165 - £44,722 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance. Appointments are normally made at the start of the salary range.
