Opportunity Overview
The Design Against Crime Solution Centre at the University of Salford has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to support in the scientific coordination and delivery of the EU-funded Engage2innovate (E2i) project.
This role will support the Principal Investigators in the management of the E2i project work packages and delivery of E2i project outputs. E2i will investigate and address barriers to implementing EU security research and innovation outputs.
The successful candidate will work within a dynamic, externally focused team, and in partnership with industry experts, academics and practitioners from across Europe. The post is ideally suited to individuals with experience of administration, office procedures and processes who can demonstrate continuous specialist development. Well-developed organisational and communication skills are essential.
Please note this appointment will be part-time (0.5 FTE) and for a fixed term, from 1 December 2023 to 31 March 2027. For a full list of responsibilities, please see the Job Description.

The Solution Centre has recently been awarded European Commission Horizon Europe research funding of €2.1m to deliver the consortium project Engage2innovate (E2i) – Enhancing security solution design, adoption and impact through effective engagement and social innovation.
