The Senior Commercial Marketing Officer will be an experienced marketer who has a strong understanding of campaigns and marketing communications for commercial purposes.
The post holder is responsible for the planning, creation, delivery and project management of commercial marketing of the University. You will work closely with the content, rich media, social media and communications teams in planning, evaluating and providing recommendations for projects or initiatives from around the University that support a commercial purpose.
You will have excellent problem-solving skills and customer service skills to work with a range of internal stakeholders where you will be expected to understand their challenges and from them interpret these challenges into marketing solutions.
You will demonstrate a good understanding of campaign project management, how to communicate with multiple different stakeholders, and have a proven track record for delivering a return-on-investment on projects.
You will be a key player in the Student Marketing and Advertising team, working closely with the CRM, Web, Content, Events and Social Media teams to deliver the various commercial marketing strategies and plans.
The role would suit someone who can balance multiple projects whilst having the ability to plan and deliver marketing campaigns at the same time. Being able to communicate and overcome challenges will be an essential part of the role.
Benefits of the role include 25 days holiday and 13 statutory and customary days, flexible working, a university nursery and fitness centre, a generous employer contribution pension scheme, a reward scheme for shopping discounts, and a salary sacrifice scheme to assist you in purchasing items like childcare vouchers or a bicycle for commuting.
