The successful candidate must have extensive experience of working at the interface between the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, in similar roles within charities or higher education institutions. We are looking for someone who will be able to come in and establish a new strategic approach to corporate fundraising. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to articulate our research initiatives to potential partners, meeting our and their needs and interests through written and face-to-face contact. The ability to create strong working relationships internally with scientists, business development and support staff is vital.
