Founded in 1432, Sevenoaks School enjoys a global reputation as a centre of academic excellence and a flagship school for the International Baccalaureate. A co-educational day and boarding school, it offers a stimulating, intellectually demanding and balanced education for over 1,100 students aged 11 to 18. It is the top co-educational independent school in the UK in The Sunday Times Parent Power 2023 Survey, Spear’s School of the Year 2022 and AGBIS School of the Year 2023.
The Sevenoaks School Foundation is now seeking an experienced and dynamic Prospect Research Manager to join its rapidly expanding advancement team and help support an ambitious and transformative fundraising campaign ahead of the school’s 600th anniversary in 2032. The campaign, led by the Headmaster, reflects the school’s ‘restless quest to improve and evolve’ and will focus on providing more transformational bursaries, advancing the school campus plan and enabling Sevenoaks to become carbon neutral within a decade.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Advancement Services, the Prospect Research Manager will support the advancement of Sevenoaks School through a programme of prospect research and portfolio management that focuses on the identification, qualification and management of principal gift, major gift and high-value regular gift prospects. This will be achieved through a data-centric approach using best-practice tools and techniques to enrich our prospect pipeline. They will also have responsibility for developing, maintaining and implementing the Foundation’s due diligence processes.
