We are inviting applications for a Postgraduate Taught Course Coordinator to join the Education Centre in the School of Medicine. You will work closely will the Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Programmes Manager and academics to lead and coordinate all aspects of administration including induction and programme and module delivery for one of our postgraduate taught courses while coordinating day to day operations across out portfolio of postgraduate courses.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team worker who has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will be friendly, proactive, and self-motivated. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent planning, organisation and communication skills.
You will manage a variety of relationships with a range of stakeholders, regularly handling confidential information. Liaising with central support services, academic staff, students’ union and the wider programmes team, you will be key to ensuring the smooth delivery of key student support systems and processes. We will provide full training on all aspects of the role for the successful candidates.
The successful candidate will be qualified to A level plus English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent) or significant work experience in a similar role with excellent IT skills and proven ability to work to tight deadlines.
The post is based at the Education Centre, in the Queens Medical Centre at Nottingham, however, you may be asked to travel to other university sites as part of the role.
The role is available on a permanent basis. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
