About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Kellogg College as a Research Officer and Commission Administrator.
You will undertake research into, and draft the Commission Report on, the issues around making Sustainability Data accessible and consistent. You will also service the Commission, supporting the Commissioners in the discharge of their duties.
You will be responsible for delivering and managing the commission’s research and administrative activities, adapting research methodologies, presentation and reporting materials as necessary and representing the Commission and the Centre at external meetings and seminars.
You will be joining the University of Oxford’s most international college, with a unique mix of students: it is the University’s leading college for students reading for degrees on a part-time basis and has a strong and vibrant body of full-time students. The College’s wider academic community includes members drawn from across the full range of academic disciplines in the University.
About you
You will possess sufficient specialist knowledge in the discipline to work within established research programmes and the ability to manage your own academic research and associated activities. You will possess the ability to contribute ides for new research projects and research income generation. You will have previous experience of contributing to publications and presentations and excellent communication skills, including the ability to write for publication.
