We research and teach in anthropology, archaeology, criminology, development studies, gender studies, health and society, international relations, media, politics, public policy, and sociology.
Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We seek a colleague to teach into Criminology, at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to supervise sub-doctoral students in this field as appropriate. We seek teaching expertise in particular in one or more of these fields: punishment, prisons, restorative justice, indigenous criminology and introductory criminology.
We particularly welcome and encourage the applications of critical criminologists and related social scientists. Experience in teaching large undergraduate classes is required.
This is a fulltime (40 hours per week), up to 2 year fixed-term position.
An appointment will be made at the Lecturer level: $91,328 - $109,099.
