About the Role
This is a hybrid role, working on campus for at least four days per week. The Student Enquiry Centre is the Registry Service’s front facing student service and deals with enquiries and requests for information and documentation from prospective, current and former students. The purpose of the Centre is to offer information, advice and signposting on a broad range of issues to students, including: enrolment; examinations; university policies, procedures and regulations; financial support, bursaries and scholarships; progression and award; official documentation.
About You
The successful candidate will be, student focused and results committed individual who will manage and guide a small team on a day-to-day basis. You will have proven experience of delivering quality customer service and an excellent knowledge of the student journey and all services and changes which might affect students. You will review current policies and procedures and lead on the development of working practices to provide an effective and efficient service to customers.
About the Department
Registry Services is responsible for the maintenance of a student’s personal and academic record from the point of enrolment through to award, for the organisation and delivery of invigilated examinations, the distribution of the Queen Mary bursary and other approved scholarships, ensuring compliance with immigration rules and dealing with academic and regulatory queries from both students and academic colleagues.
