About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Coordinator to join the Parkinson`s group within the Centre for Preventive Neurology. The postholder will lead the integration and operation of the recently launched internal GP2 Hub (a virtual environment for research communication and project delivery for the GP2 scientific community) and coordinate regular issues of the GP2 Newsletter.
About You
Applicants must have sound skills in project coordination and be willing to work with investigators and collaborators across the GP2 network. You will be a graduate in a related field, or have a comparable skillset, with outstanding organizational skills and demonstrable IT skills. You will need to be proactive, and able to find innovative solutions to problems as they arrive. You will be working closely with a wide variety of internal staff and external stakeholders, so good team-working skills are essential. Experience of working with virtual research environments would be beneficial.

The Centre for Preventive Neurology is at the forefront of international research and brings together an expert team to carry out revolutionary new research into Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. The centre`s focus is on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into health strategies and their practical implementation – all dedicated to the reduction of disease and disability.

The post is based in Charterhouse Square. It is full-time (35 hours per week), fixed-term appointment for 2 years. The starting salary will be Grade 4 in the range of £38,165 - £41,300 per annum inclusive of London Allowance.
