The newly constituted Graduate School of Business is located within the University of Bedfordshire Business School and is one of the largest Graduate Schools in UK. We are committed to excellent, inclusive teaching that prepares our students for professional employment and inspires them to achieve their ambitions. We deliver across a range of business-related subject areas and our provision includes substantive partnership work.

You, the successful candidate, will be leading one of the three portfolios within the Graduate school of Business: the MBA portfolio, the MSc portfolio or the partnerships/apprenticeships portfolio. This post will focus on the further development of our Postgraduate provision. The successful applicant will have a clear vision for the Graduate School of Business and its future direction and should be able to lead in innovative curriculum development to ensure that the multidisciplinary portfolio provides an excellent student experience.

The Graduate School of Business enjoys close links with local industry and SMEs as well as an extensive network of TNE partners. We have leveraged these networks to develop a range of authentic and innovative assessments into the curriculum. Thus, the successful candidate should have a strong interest in innovative pedagogy, the ability to manage globally distributed units and a commitment to practice-based pedagogies focussing on enterprise engagement.

With a PhD and academic management experience in an appropriate subject area, you will be an excellent communicator, able to lead and inspire teams of academics and committed to your personal development within your subject field. There is a requirement for portfolio level management and curriculum design experience. The ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment would be a distinct advantageous.
