Location: Usher Institute moves to a new building in Edinburgh Bioquarter, Spring 2024.

The Masters in Clinical Trials programme at the Usher Institute within The University of Edinburgh invites applications for an experienced lecturer in clinical trials.  We seek a part time lecturer to lead on specialised courses. This is an open-ended part-time contract funded by the Usher Teaching Organisation.

The Opportunity:

The appointed lecturer will course lead in the clinical trials course entitled ‘Principles in clinical Trials management’ and will contribute to courses such as monitoring and auditing and ethics and regulatory concerns in clinical trials. 
The position will also allow for marking and teaching across the programme.

Your skills and attributes for success: 

  • Experience in clinical trials.
  • Experience in teaching in online postgraduate programmes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Principles in clinical trial management.
  • Ability to course lead and consult on teaching of clinical trials.
  • Ability to mark and supervise clinical trials dissertation projects.
