This is an exciting opportunity to provide highly efficient, effective, and professional support to the ARIES NERC DTP (Natural Environment Research Council Doctoral Training Partnership) programme. The DTP draws together expertise from five universities and over forty Research Institute and collaborative partners. 

You will be providing support to postgraduate researchers joining specific doctoral programmes as well as the academic and professional service staff involved with leading, supervising and delivering the doctoral research training for these programmes.
 
You will be proactive and adaptable, with excellent attention to detail and proven organisational skills. There will be a varied and interesting workload with interaction with a wide range of staff and students, both within the University and external partners.

You will have two A-levels at Grades A-E and five GCSEs at Grades A-C (including Maths and English) or equivalent qualifications or experience and be able to satisfy all essential elements of the person specification for this post.

This part-time post (0.4 FTE, 14.5 hours per week) is available from 2 September 2024 on an indefinite basis, working Mondays and Tuesdays. 
 
The Postgraduate Research Service is currently operating a hybrid working model. You will be expected to work on campus with your team on Tuesdays. We can be flexible in agreeing precise working hours to be worked (within 8am-6pm) with the preferred candidate.
