The opportunity
Are you passionate about driving positive change? At University of the Arts London (UAL), we believe that creativity is the key to addressing global challenges and fostering a more equitable future. Our mission is to nurture and share this creativity, empowering our students and staff to shape a better world. If you are a visionary Project Manager, join our team and help us transform the future of education.
As a Project and Change Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Size and Shape and Academic Capacity and Experience Programmes (ACE). The Size and Shape programme optimises our course offerings and scale, recommending student number growth and changes to our taught courses to meet evolving skill needs. ACE is a suite of university-wide transformation projects, aiming to create an environment of excellence in academic delivery through new operating models, delivery frameworks, and resource allocation tools.
You will be embedded within a college to support these initiatives while working centrally with the ACE and Size and Shape teams. Your focus will be on implementing changes, ensuring stakeholder engagement, developing detailed plans, and tracking progress.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience managing complex change projects in large organisations. You should be skilled in structural change and collaborating with HR teams, with an understanding of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) implications.
Holding a Project Management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM, or Agile/Scrum, is essential. Knowledge of the Higher Education policy and regulatory environment is desirable. Additionally, excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are crucial for this role.
