Cardiff University is seeking an experienced, qualified Finance Manager providing high quality financial management support for Professional Services.
You will lead and manage the delivery of financial management and accounting activities within Professional Services, ensuring compliance with University financial regulations and procedures and best practice. You will also support the development of business cases, plans and financial reporting across the University’s change portfolios.
You will have experience of management information reporting, financial planning, establishment modelling, budget preparation and control in a large organisation. You will also understand and interpret complex financial information and communicate this clearly and succinctly.
A qualified accountant with relevant experience, you will be able to demonstrate experience of providing financial and management accounting support within a University environment.
This post is full time and fixed term for 12 months.
Salary: £49,794 to £54,395 pa (Grade 7)
