About the Role
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Queen Mary University of London is seeking to recruit a Student Experience Manager who will work flexibly alongside the Faculty Education team to deliver the objectives of the Faculty’s strategy. This role will include overseeing careers initiatives and student experience projects to enhance the overall student journey. The successful candidate will collaborate with a range of stakeholders across the Faculty and the broader University, including the Dean and Deputy Deans for Education, school staff with student experience and career development responsibilities, students, and the Student Experience Directorate.
About You
The role holder will provide dynamic leadership and management to ensure the successful delivery of student experience elements within the Faculty’s Enabling Plan. Passionate about leading change and driving innovation within the industry, the role holder will work as part of the Faculty Education and Student Experience team, and alongside schools, to contribute to the Education and Student Experience strategy and operational planning. They will monitor, review, and enhance School and Faculty processes to continually improve services for both students and staff. With a focus on improving the student experience, the role holder will identify key issues, develop impactful initiatives, and manage projects through to completion. The role holder will also manage the SKETCH Coordinators and contribute to the continued success of an award-winning Knowledge Exchange Programme within the Faculty.
