St Peter’s College seeks to recruit a Deputy Director of Development to join our Development Office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fundraising and alumni relations professionals to advance their career and play their part in the development, implementation and success of our centenary campaign.
The central responsibility of the Deputy Director is to raise money for the College’s key priorities. This will be achieved through face-to-face fundraising, as well as taking responsibility for and applying strategic oversight to the College’s Regular Giving and Stewardship programmes. The Deputy Director will manage the prospect pipelines for the Development Team, supporting the College’s Major Giving programme, and identify and cultivate a pool of mid-level and major prospects.
The Deputy Director will also take ownership over the Development Office’s overall data management and financial systems and will line-manage the Campaigns and Data Officer and the Development Officer. The post holder be responsible for the general day-to-day running of the gift administration, including gift processing, data entry, and budgeting, ensuring effective and efficient systems are in place for successful fundraising and alumni relations programmes.
Salary: Appointment will be made on Grade 9 of the University’s Base salary scale for academic-related staff according to experience, currently £52,815- £61,198 per annum. Skills and experience will be taken into consideration. Suitable candidates with less experience may be appointed at Grade 8 of the University Base Salary Scale (£45,585 - £54,395).
