The new role of Fellowship and Master’s Office Secretary plays a pivotal role in the administration of the College, providing secretarial and administrative support to the Fellowship and Master’s Office, editing The Record (the College’s annual journal), and supporting the governance and compliance administration for the College. This is a varied role with a wide range of responsibilities, and the post-holder will help to ensure the smooth operation of the College and the timely completion of tasks. Applicants must be educated to Degree level or the equivalent by practical and professional experience or ability. The role foremost requires exceptional accuracy and attention to detail, excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, good time management, as well as effective and accurate oral and written communication skills with people at all levels.
The appointee will show initiative and work independently with enthusiasm for the tasks. Complete discretion, diplomacy and tact are absolutely essential, as are flexibility with hours and a willingness to work additional hours at peak times.
