An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Opportunities Coordinator to join the UEA Careers Service.
The UEA Careers Service delivers a range of services and extensive support to develop Graduate Success and Employability.
UEA Careers Service is looking for a highly motivated individual to join a busy and friendly team to facilitate and support increasing numbers of students into opportunities such as placements and internships.
You will support activities for students and graduates to develop career understanding and professional experience, including workshops, events and promoting opportunities. You will also support business facing activities, liaising with both internal and external host organisations, as well as students and graduates, to provide efficient customer service and administrative support throughout the internship and placement recruitment process.
In addition, you’ll provide administrative support for the vacancy advertising service and the provision of other student opportunities.
You will have recent experience of working in a busy administrative role, in addition to being able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, together with a good level of competency in IT. The team works closely together, and the role will require excellent communication skills and a flexible approach.
The Career Central team are currently working in a hybrid capacity with the majority of our time based on campus, mainly in our shared office in the UEA Library.
This full-time post is available on an indefinite basis.
