About the role
The University is looking to recruit two highly skilled Executive Operations Support colleagues to join our team who will each support two Senior Leaders, ensuring operational efficiency, seamless communication, and day-to-day and operational support.
As Executive Operations Support you will support two VCO Executives in delivering high-quality administrative management with precision and professionalism, playing a crucial role in Executive success. You will collaborate with stakeholders and other colleagues across the division and the wider University. You will give advice in prioritising tasks and meetings, offer strategies for better time management and gather and analyse data to support decision making.
This role has the potential to help transform the VCO’s support for the University’s Senior Leaders. It will suit someone who understands the potential of the role for professional development, who works well with people at all levels of an organisation, and who has the capacity and desire to understand the University’s core business and see the connections between different Senior Leaders’ portfolios.
About you
You will be educated to degree level or the relevant working experience. As effective Executive Operations Support you will be highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, ensuring that tasks and schedules are managed efficiently.
Adaptability allows you to navigate changing priorities and unexpected challenges smoothly. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enable you to convey information clearly and effectively, and produce briefings as required.
You will be a resourceful problem-solver, consistently delivering high-quality work. Proficient in various software and tools, while your interpersonal skills help build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. These qualities will make you invaluable to your Executives and the University. You will support Executives on key strategic and sensitive issues in support of University priorities.
