We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor/Lecturer full-time to be based in Singapore. Representing the University of Glasgow (UofG), through the University of Glasgow Singapore (UGS), you will make a significant contribution to the leadership, management and provision of teaching, primarily in the BSc (Honours) in Nursing programme, delivered in collaboration with the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT). While the primary focus will be at undergraduate level, you will also be expected to make a significant contribution to the development and provision of postgraduate teaching opportunities in Singapore. The successful candidate may be expected to contribute to postgraduate supervision, including doctoral supervision where the appointee holds a PhD. You will contribute to the strategic development of scholarship and the achievement of the School of Medicine Dentistry & Nursing (SoMDN) and the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences (MVLS) objectives, in relation to national and international excellence in the delivery of learning, teaching and student experience.

Although this post is based on campus in Singapore, there will be a requirement to visit the UK for induction and personal development or work-related activities as appropriate.

Applicants must have an ability to work in Singapore to deliver this role, subject to working and residency permissions. The successful candidate will also be expected to register and/or maintain their registration with Singapore Nursing Board.
