This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be expected to work 2-3 days a week on campus. The post holder may be based at any premises the University occupies and may be required to work at any University site or any other reasonable location where the University is undertaking its business.
An exciting and interesting opportunity has arisen within the Finance and Commercial Department at the University of Gloucestershire for an experienced Financial Operations Manager with recent relevant experience in managing an Income or credit control team.

We are looking for an experienced, Financial Operations Manager with excellent communication skills who shares our aspirations and wants to make a real difference in this challenging role
This is a key role within the University and is located within the Financial Operations Team which is responsible for the collection of all student fees and payment of all supplier invoices whilst ensuring robust financial controls are maintained and adhered to.
You will be primarily responsible for managing both the Income Team and Purchase Ledger team and the day-to-day operational administration of the sales and purchase ledger and online payment pathways. You will be responsible for debtor and creditor month end reporting, financial controls and reconciliations. Analysing the debtor balances and identifying strategies to ensure debtor KPI’s are achieved. You will liaise with students and staff regarding queries on their accounts and make decisions on payment plans. You will work collaboratively with internal departments to ensure finance operational processes are understood and adhered to whilst driving through change and efficiencies at every opportunity. T
