The R&E Operations and Systems Coordinator will support the effective planning and delivery of research and enterprise services, ensuring robust risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement. The role involves overseeing the daily operation of research support systems, managing data integrity and security, and producing management information to inform decision-making. The post holder will foster collaborative relationships across academic, professional, and external partners, champion best practice in data management and customer service, and represent the service in university-wide and external networks.

You’ll be based within our Funding Support team but will regularly work with colleagues across Research & Enterprise, including senior stakeholders.
The role requires excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities, effective communication with diverse audiences, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively. A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and inclusive service delivery, alongside a creative approach to enhancing stakeholder experience, is also vital. You will need to be adaptable and able to manage multiple requests from different departments.
An understanding of research support infrastructure and compliance is essential, plus experience in data analysis, workflow coordination, including the use of databases and spreadsheets.
