We are looking for someone with the ability to multi-task who has excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills and a professional manner to join our busy Deanery Team. If you enjoy having lots of different projects on the go, are highly organised and self-motivated then this post could interest you.
The position of Deanery Team Assistant is based in the Deanery Administration Team in the Education Division of the School of Clinical Medicine on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. The role organises and supports a variety of different activities that support medical students and medical educators in the Clinical School.
You will be a key member of the Deanery Team co-ordinating and supporting a range of activities including events and meetings for students and staff, as well as ensuring processes around student electives, quality assurance and staff development are carried out. In addition, there are several education projects across the team that you would support. Events you would be working on include our annual student Declaration Ceremony, key staff meetings and away days for both administrative and clinical colleagues.
This interesting and varied role involves regular communication with internal colleagues at all levels, as well as external organisations including event venues and the Hospital Trusts that we work with closely. A professional, positive and calm approach is essential as well as the ability to be an excellent team player and to work independently and proactively when needed.
