The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 574 years. Today, we are one of the world's top 100 universities and ranked 13th in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Impact Rankings 2023, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
This role contributes to the innovation, engagement and impact agendas of the College of Arts by driving the outcomes of the Impact Acceleration Account (IAA).
The successful candidate will work with researchers to develop their applications to the IAA, and take a key role in identifying further Innovation or Knowledge Exchange (KE) funding to achieve impact, including providing support to access the funds in cooperation with the Research Office. Working with the Knowledge Exchange & Innovation Manager, the postholder will be responsible for the development of new partnerships through targeted programmes, and will support the development of collaborative projects with non-academic organisations resulting from the programmes.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week) and is fixed term until 31st March 2027 in the first instance.
