We are seeking an inspiring and committed Lecturer in Adult Nursing to join our friendly and forward-thinking team within the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Allied and Public Health.
You will contribute to the teaching, assessment, and support of students across our pre-registration nursing programmes, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and compassion required to deliver safe and effective care.
Working alongside experienced educators and our NHS partners, you will play an important role in shaping the next generation of nurses, equipping them to meet the challenges of contemporary healthcare practice and make a real difference in people's lives.
You will be a registered adult nurse (NMC) with recent clinical experience and a strong understanding of current policy, best practice, and professional standards in nursing.
You will bring enthusiasm for education and a genuine commitment to supporting students to reach their potential. Experience of teaching or facilitating learning, either in clinical or academic settings, is desirable, as is an interest in developing your academic and scholarly profile.
How will you work?
We are committed to supporting flexible methods of working wherever possible and in this role campus attendance will vary on a day-to-day basis and across the year but must purposefully align to the service being delivered and to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders. It is expected that the majority of your working time will be spent on campus.
