About Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clerk of Works to join a large and prestigious higher education institution in London. Working within a busy Estates and Facilities team, you will play a key role in overseeing a diverse portfolio of capital, refurbishment, maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation projects across a complex estate.
This position will be responsible for ensuring contractors deliver works in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and agreed programmes.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who will be qualified and posses a degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a construction-related discipline. The successful candidate will be highly motivated with a proven record of experience monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with project specifications and experience working as a Clerk of Works, Site Inspector or similar role. Candidate will possess a strong understanding of building regulations, construction methods, building services and health & safety legislation with a proven track record showing the ability to work independently across multiple projects and sites.
