The post is offered as a 0.5 FTE job share arrangement working all day Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.  The post is Fixed Term for 9 Months Maternity Cover in the First Instance.

Loughborough's Research Office is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Research Development Manager to join our expanding team. The post holder will support academic colleagues to secure significant research funding, growing the University's research portfolio and advancing our reputation for world-class research. The post holder will play a key role in identifying opportunities, developing research collaborations, supporting strategic applications, and helping to secure research funding.

We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent communication and influencing skills, who is highly organised and can demonstrate experience of networking and influencing key stakeholders including research funders. The role will predominantly support the University's Secure and Resilient Societies Global Challenge and the School of Business and Economics. Applicants with previous experience of working in these areas are particularly welcome.
