We are seeking a talented development professional to raise funds for lifelong learning at Oxford University. The University was one of the pioneers of the University Extension movement, making the scholarship of the University accessible to wider audiences, a mission it continues to this day. We want you to help us deliver that mission through engaging philanthropic support.
Continuing Education students include members of the public who wish to study a subject for intellectual enrichment, those seeking a career change or CPD, and participants in the large number of our international programmes. They can study part-time and through our significant online platform.
Working closely with the Director of the Department and the Head of Development - Student Support, you will develop and implement long-term fundraising plans for the Department. You will be an experienced and effective development professional, with a confident, creative approach to development, and a passion for continuous and lifelong learning to advance knowledge and to ensure individuals reach their full potential, regardless of their background or stage in life. A graduate or equivalent, higher education or not-for-profit experience would be helpful. You will have excellent communication skills and a strong personal drive and gift for relationship management, working to clear fundraising goals. Confident and credible at a senior level, you will collaborate closely with academic, college and development staff.
